Vintage Design
Impressions made from tree bark were first used to make moulds in the early 1970s, as factories investigated new ways to bring surface texture to glass objects. Some models are colored throughout while others have a colored core with a thick Sommerso (clear glass casing). These lovely examples are all in shades of amber with heavy glass that ensures stability for your arrangement as well as catching the light from all angles. piece is in excellent condition and show this technique to the best effect.
