1950s Grindley Huge Soup Tureen With Lid in Linden Lea

This is a huge white soup tureen or covered vegetable bowl in the Linden Lea pattern from 1954. It is white with blue and gold shaped rim with pink and blue flowers on it and tiny pink flowers with blue leaves. The lid handle is shaped like a flower or bud, and it is trimmed in gold. The gold trim is intact with no wear or damage. The lid has a spoon cut out.

The tureen measures 11.75 inches from handle to handle and is 9.5 by 8.50 inches at the rim. The rim is 5.00 inches tall and it is about 4.50 inches deep. It is 7 7/8 inches to the top of the handle.

The pattern is dated 1954, but this soup tureen is in exceptional shape with no sign of wear or use. The pattern is intact, all gold trim is solid and clean and there are no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage.
