19th Century French Neoclassical Fruitwood Directoire Chest of Drawers

An exquisite, early 19th century Louis XVI two drawer Neoclassical commode in the Directoire style. The chest is adorned with original lion head pulls on each of the drawers, along with crest shaped escutcheons adorned with floral and star designs, all resting on elegant square, tapered legs. Found in the South of France.
