We present you this article of furniture, circa the 1950s-1960s, made in birchen veneer.
The set includes an extended table and 4 chairs.
The shape of the whole resembles the 18th century furniture in the Chippendale style.
The elements of this suite that really reflect the characteristic features of the style are: the bent legs finished with spheres in bird talons, and the backrests with an openwork, flat motif of intertwining ribbons and tapes.
What also draws the attention is the curious black-green-yellow color scheme of the whole set.
The seats have been replaced, and covered with a new, golden fabric that perfectly matches the whole.
After extension, the table can be used with up to 12 chairs.
