An exquisite set of three English circa 1840 shellwork pictures in original giltwood frames composed of various Caribbean or West Indian seashells depicting somewhat abstract and fanciful designs of a potted flower, a neoclassical temple and urn, and what could be a butterfly or flower all within ‘rosette’ corner block borders. A very rare and exceptional set.
