Biography
He grew up in a family of artists, as his father Auguste-Marie Caussé (1834-1907) and his younger brother Auguste Caussé (1870-1924)1 were also sculptors. A student of Alexandre Falguière, he moved to Paris around 1890 and exhibited at the Salon des artistes français from 1888 to 19132. He won an honorable mention at the 1892 Salon, a 3rd class medal in 1893 and an honorable mention at the 1900 Universal Exhibition3. He married Camille Pradier in March 1897 in Paris.
He created numerous statues and lamps.
He was still active in 1929 in the XIVth district.
Domiciled in Bry-sur-Marne in the 1930s6, he died there on March 5, 1938.
