A Herend Hungary porcelain lidded Trinket box, 1950-1970 A Herend porcelain lidded trinket box, painted by Eva Bakos, during 1950-1970 in Hungary. A light blue porcelain box with a painting of flowers on branches. The octagonal lidded box has the signature of the painter Eva Bakos and in the porcelain the mark of Herend with number 7987. The extra box is slightly later and is a lidded round box, although also painted by Eva Bakos with a similar pattern. This box is not marked, only the painter’s name of Eva Bakos. (2 scratches on the lid) The measurements are of the octagonal box is 3.5 cm high, 17 cm wide and the depth is 9 cm. The round lidded box is 11.5 cm diagonal and 9 cm high. The total weight is 702 grams.
