The openwork vase is discreetly grooved on its surface, its collar is tightened. The ceramics are of beautiful dimensions and nicely signed in hollow “Acc colay” and numbered 27. It is in good condition, some traces are visible on the enamel.
9 to 15cm in diameter, 24.5cm high.
In the middle of the 20th century, Accolay was the setting for a real ceramic revolution. Four former students of Alexandre Kostanda settled in the small village of the Yonne in the mid -1940s, many potters will follow their example. For forty years, the production of Accolay potters will be impressive, original and daring.
